• Replaces original Lucas or Wipac alternator and rotor.
• Self generating digital cdi ignition - battery not required.
• Simple timing set-up align marks on the rotor and stator.
• Single phase permanent magnet alternator maximum output 50w.
• Supplied regulator/rectifier is 6v or 12v selectable by cutting the blue wire. Output is DC to charge a small battery - see notes about battery in Fitting Instructions tab above.
• The battery can be replaced with a PP12 capacitor pack, see related product code on Website PP12, this is more reliable than a battery but has limited energy storage. See notes about battery in Fitting Instructions tab above.
• Rotor is fitted with collet locking system in place of the original key and keyway. This allows correct timing set-up as the keyway is not required. If the crankshaft is rebuilt it is quite common for the keyway to be in the wrong position.
• Manufactured in the UK.
